365 Days to a Balanced Life Journey – Day 62

Quote of the Day

“Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming” Quote from The Secret

As I have mentioned before, I have long been a believer in the power of attraction and visualization techniques as a way of improving  my life and finally getting the life I REALLY want.  Like any daily habit, visualizing and attracting is hard to do consistently.  I know, I’ve been trying for several years.  Even though I did find some improvement and interesting coincidences (getting the parking spots I visualized being a minor but still exciting one), as with most things I have have tried in my life I lacked the discipline to do the same things every day in order to get results.  That actually isn’t true, I did do the same things every day, they were just the negative and distructive things.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, makes you think doesn’t it?  If I have the discipline to consistently think negative thoughts and not exercise every day or not eat right every day why can’t I redirect that to doing the opposite when the rewards are so much better? Answer?  Because it’s easier to keep the bad habits than create the new habits.

Until now that is.  I consider myself very lucky to have stumbled on a new technique, brilliant in its simplicity.  It is called Mind Movies and it only involves looking at short (1-2 minute) movies every morning and every night that focus on what you want to attract into your life.  I’m excited about this and have asked three people to be my “lab rats” on this.  For the next 30 days we are going to do this and I will report back our success (and we will have success ). By the way, these mind movies are free so there is no reason to feel like someone is trying to sell you something.

I watched four of these this morning on health, relationships, wealth and spirituality.  The effect was interesting.  I had such an enormous amount of energy when I finished them I had to get outside in the sunshine and walk (very fast) to burn some of it off.  As I was walking I found myself noticing the birds, flowers and my general surroundings more acutely as well, I could not keep from smiling and feeling optimistic and visualizing positive events.  I do not know if this will happen each time I watch these but I’m sure pumped to find out!!!
